OK Finnaly...after many sleepless nights and non-productive days at school I got it figured out.....If you want an IN FENDER CAI without moving your battery too much search the 3rd gen threads here for 92-96 intake for my original write up. Again you will need 92-96 CAI, 4th gen Battery tray,Sawzall, and new to the list ANY intake pipe about a foot long that is the same size as your 4th gen cai. Cut the second intake pipe to length to replace the flexable intake tube and BLAMO CAI in fender w/o sticking the battery in the trunk. I'll post Pics and another Complete deatailed write up when my integra CAI gets here so I can rebuild the intake and clean everything up i'll take more pics this time ::newbie:

I don't understand why you are making a NEW thread saying basically the same thing as the last one.

PM me when you make the write-up with pics and I will open this back up. For now I am going to close it because it contains nothing new, and is your 6th thread about intakes in the last 6 days.

Thanks BOB!!!!

OK So a week or so ago I posted a way to get your filter into the fender with out relocating the battery. The only flaw in my set up was the crappy Universal flexable intake pipe I used, well I fixed that So I'm going to re-write the write up since I changed a few things. Oh and the reason some pics look diff that others is because a few are from the first write up.
Stuff you need:
92-96 prelude short ram-ebay brand works
94-01 Integra CAI
Hose clamps and couplers. 1for the tb 2 for the other pipes x2 for clamps
Sawzall or other cutting tool
Basic hand tools
92-96 Battery tray( you can mod yours but IDK what it will do)

Step 1: take your bumper off. Remove both fog lights and cornner lights, then remove the two bolts UNDER your bumper.

then remove the four screws holding the cornners of the bumper (in wheel well) after that remove the four 12mm bolts holding the bumper on and pull the bumper off.

Step 2: take out your battery and battery tray, aslo any intake setup you have currently, loosen the fuse box by removing the lower bolt and lossening the upper one.
Image

Step 3: Remove the Coolant Resevour from the fender well. Set it aside you will reuse it.

Step 4:Use the sawzall or whatever to cut a hole where the battery tray used to be. Cut as close to the head light motor as you can.make sure the hole is big enough.

Step 5: Take the coolant Resevouir and relocate it to where the stock airfilter was, use the bolt holding the brake lines as a mount, then take the resevouir fill tube and cut it so that you have enough hose to attack the fill to the resevouir. Connect the over flow tube back up and you're done with that.

Step 6: Then take the 4th gen battery tray and cut the radaitor over flow tank mount off flush with the flat part of the tray, then cut the other end flush as well.

Step 7: Bolt the tray with the side that had the mount tword the starter. now you can only get one bolt in so make it tight. Bolt it in with the top left hole.
Image

Step 8: Cut the prelude intake off above the first bend. The rest is junk. Remeber to plug the small vacume line that attaches near the TB. Then attach the prelude pipe to the throttle body.
Image

Step 9: Cut the first integra pipe off right after the PVC thing is and attach that to the prelude peice, be sure to leave a gap in the coupler to alow for some flex.
Image

Step 10.Cut the "s" shaped peice from the integra in half but leave the side that is angled a little longer.
Image

Step 11: Attach that peice to the Middle one and aim it down the hole. It should stick down pretty far.
Image

Step 12: Cram your filter onto the end of it lol...yeah it's a tight fit!
Image

Step 13: cram the whole assembly against the strut tower bar mounts and wiggle your battery into place. The upper left cornner of the battery sould press in on the coupler between the middle and end peices. It'll take some feniss to get it in but it'll fit if you keep at it.
Image

Step 14: Tighten all your clamps, figure out how to secure the battery (mines big so it's crammed in there) and reverse the process of taking the bumper apart.

In the end you SHOULD get something like this:

And that's it! Reconnect your battery make sure everything's attached and you're done! This isn't the easiest way to make some power but it's different. I take no responsability if you dick you your car doing this, so if you don't think you can then dont!

HAHA So I'm more then pleased with it...I've also found that if you remove the two end peices and stick a filter on the first pipe, it's perfect for a rainy day. I'll be Working on a cleaner setup this spring to keep your eyes out. I'm also Thinking about turning the black hood bar thing into a functional ram air hood scoop. I'd build an alluminum box that holds a K&N filter and put the box behind the engine under the intake mani on the Cowl pannel...It will have a duct that will flow the air from the scoop straight down into the box, through the filter, out the outlet of the filter to a 90 degree elbow, up to the throttle body with some pipe and another 90 degree elbow...It'll be fun to see how it works out As soon as i get the plans drawn up i'll post em! CANT WAIT TILL SPRING!!!
