Replacing throttle cable

Hey all,

My Prelude needs a new throttle cable. The gas pedal is kind of sticky and doesn't go down all the way. The seller I bought it from included a universal throttle cable, should that work with the Prelude or do I need to get a OEM One or something? What are the specs of it?

I would honestly try and lubricating your oem cable. Get everything greased up and you should be fine.

A universal one might be a pain to make work.

Alright, I'll see if I can figure that out.

Just so I don't keep cluttering and adding more forums, there's also a wasp nest stuck underneath the cowling, is there a way to remove the cowling and get it out?

The cable may be kinked, check. If it is kinked then it must be replaced.
