no.. that's when it cuts off the fuel to save what you have left of your engine when bouncing off the rev limiter...
but yeah.. the stock tachs tend to read a lil off when getting into that high of revs, so keep that in mind. around 7600 is prob pretty accurate for the rev limiter. the powerband in the h22 is in the higher rmps. weak as a kitten down low, or so it feels that way .
Keep the rev limiter, it's there to keep you from blowing it up. You don't increase in power past 6800rpm anyway, at least on a stock motor. Shift at about 7200rpms, 7500rpms max and I wouldn't even go there very often.
h series have a rev limiter. not fuel cut.
rev limiter is 7800 rpm, but will read anywhere from 8000 to 8100 on stock tach.
the preludes actual fuel cut on stock ecu is like 8500 or something like that but it has a rev limiter long before it.
on a stock ecu I think 7600 is the peak then as stated fuel gets cut off...
