f22a1 turbo/all motor?

Is there a nice build route I can take to beef up my f22a1 that will help get it ready for a turbo application for about 10-11psi dd?

I heard something about big mike being a beast with building the na's. Big mike if you read this lol PM me so I can bother you with some f22a1 ish.

Or anyone else for that matter, I was thinkin about goin the h22 route but I'd like to take what I have and make it better. :devil:

Plus it would be cool to have a beefy single cam since everyone I speak with does nothing but talks bad about them or says just go with h22 because of various reasons 'hearsay' in most cases. But I honestly cannot say anything but good things about this stock f22a1. Seems like a REALLY strong motor for being so frowned upon.

I was hellbent on doing the h22 head swap to my f22a1 block but again I wanna stay with 1 cam.

I've been reading up on building my F22A1 for about two years. I also wanted to go single cam.. no vtec.. lots of boost!! :burn:

I plan on running the F22A6 intake manifold with the H23 plenum and throttle body. Some due to prices I am able to source parts from (scrap yards & part outs on forums). One of the motors out of the EVO has the same size piston as ours and drops our compression ratio a tad lower, and if memory serves me correct the wrist pins will work on an H23 rod. (I'll have to look at some of the spec sheets I have saved on the computer and shoot you an PM) I'm trying not to do work on the sleeves just to see how much boost I can get it to hold first.
Anyway I can go on all night about this but I'll make sure to keep checking to see what setup you can come up with!

yea i saw a post on the bisi site some guy with f22a1 makin 11s with stock motor boosted.

stock motor boosted? thats a bit of an oxymoron.

it was a fully built all motor insight that ran mid 9's.

i belive they did have a f22 that made it into the 11s on turbo too though

If you going NA, the bisimoto header is BY FAR the best out there for the F22A motors.
I'm sending you a PM about some more info for the motor.
