Like said in another thread it might be because you have led bulbs like I do. There is some controller box in the taillights that I think you can bypass for the brake light warning light. That might do it.

 

This is about the cruise control itself, want to make that work and was just asking if the pedal switch is the same?

 

Yeah but like I said in another thread. If the brake light warning is on i am pretty sure the cruise doesn't work.
