On my journey to stop the radiator fan from running indefinitely, I came across this black box:

What I did so far:
-Checked the thermostat, works as intended
-Checked the radiator bulb, works as intended
-Checked all relays and fuses, all looks good
-Replaced both the temp sensors
Here's the thing, when I unplug this black box the fan stops so I guess there's some connection to it:

I can't seem to find anything about this black box, not even in manuals, it's all sealed out and I could only find the following codes on it (which bring me nowhere):

To recap: thermostat, radiator bulb and temp sensors are fine but the fan keeps going indefinitely. As soon as I unplug this black box it stops (could this be the fan timer unit that I couldn't find near the ECU?) but I can't find anything online...what the hell is this? (With this unplugged, the car turns on normally)
