OK guys well I am in the middle of a b20a5 rebuild. I ended up bending a valve on it when the timing belt slipped and decided to tear it down. So i yanked it out of my parts car.
It has new rings, and main and rod bearings. But one of the main bearings is screwed up from someone hammering it in. So I might as well run new mains and rods. And I need a full gasket set.
I saw the cleggs sells a rebuild kit. Which is pretty cheap at like $220. Do you guys think the gaskets and bearings are any good?

Or I can buy mahle bearings at oreillys or rock auto. And a victor reinz head gasket set on rockauto. Thats about the best I can find without buying gaskets separately. But that is like $400. For everything on rockauto.
Or on this website they sell a complete gasket kit and I can buy bearings as well from them.

Or I can buy a super cheap ebay gasket kit which sounds kinda sketchy.
Just curious what you guys think.
I want this engine to last awhile and not leak. But it won't be in a race car and at least now will not be boosted. It will be in a nice weather/summer daily type of car.
Thanks Sam
