So the previous owner of the noisy cricket decided she needed this lovely fart can. as you can see it hangs so low it rubs. now it has a hole in the bottom and sounds like one of those videos of a kid with an empty can making race car noises. the dude who put the can on welded it on (it looks like ray charles did it with his feet they used adapters to get it upto the 3 inch inlet.) im tempted to just chop it off but is that gonna sound worse?

Ps this is only for a month or two until i come into some money im owed and can have an actual muffler welded on.

That looks wonderful. Lol

If you cut it off yes it will probably be even louder. Because then you will have no muffling at all.

And fart cans aren't all bad. You just have to buy a decent one or cut it apart and put more or better packing in it. Lol

Your only options is just purchasing the tube kits that are still made for specifically 3rd gens.

This a bolt up system, but you can have it welded to secure it better and modify the connections like add V-band connections to make it easier to maintain.

And then choose whatever muffler you desire.

Also you can add those universal catalytic converter to burn off excess gases to prevent as much of the gas smell if you like or just go straight pipe depending your local situation.

I went with a catalytic converter to reduce unburnt gas and reduce raspy exhaust tone as much as possible.
