Are adjustable cam gears worth it on skunk2 tuner series?

So I have seen this question a lot regarding the stock cams for some reason, and a bit for the skunk2 pro series cams, but I am looking for a smoother bottom end and still wild vtec so that brings me to the tuner2 cams, same vtec as pro1s and better idle. I've seen claims that cams gears will do nothing to the tuner series and others that it's worth another 10-15hp on top of the 15-20 skunk claims these will give you out the box. Could someone clarify this for me?

Aftermarket cams must be "degreed", doesn't matter which ones, that requires adjustable cam gears. So 100% required. You will also need to get the tools to degree the cams and have a way to lock the rockers into VTEC (usually via air pressure).

FYI had the Pro1s in an H22 before and it idled fine...
