so i turn my car on and after 30 seconds from taking off normally my yellow abs warning light comes on solid and stays on. after my trip i turn it on again, comes on but after a few blocks it comes off randomly. this morning it turned on immediately after starting the car. and it runs the same. followed this write up to check codes ( thank you, really helpful info ) http://www.preludepower.com/forums/showthread.php?t=312936

and i get a total of 6 flashes. 5 long ones followed by one short one. i believe this is code 51 which is motor lock. my question is what does this mean, what caused it, and how do i fix it and avoid for future references? thanks you all in advance

Your ABS unit has a pump motor that extracts the brake fluid from the master cylinder to use when you do some ABS braking. It appears your pump motor doesnt respond during start up, likely because it needs to be replaced. Not sure if you can replace just the motor itself or need a whole new ABS unit. Either way its gonna be expensive, just know that if you panic brake you wont have ABS.
