yes I think he was mentioning a manual not an auto because autos only have 4 gears well in our cars, as for cruzin lude, if you get taller gears that still wont give you an edge, i mean shorter quicker gears are better for drag, im assuming thats what you meant by racing.

im sorry but i disagree, it i cruise at lets say 4500 rpm's all the way to my gf's house, wich is about 25 miles away. i know i would use twice as much gas than if i was cruising and 3000. If i did, i would probably use almost a quarter tank. it sucks dick. i could have sworn someone said that an accord 5th gear would work though![/quote]

twice as much fuel? whoa your car is f*&ked man, thats a huge difference in fuel consumption. I always speed on the interstate, and as far as burning alot of fuel, well lets just say from driving my dads 2003 silverado to my lude, i burn alot less fuel then his truck. Just as a pointer less fuel you burn less HP you have, so if you want to conserve your fuel by a Civic Hybrid, and get on withit

Wow. A couple days ago I was on my way home on the 205 freeway. I just mashed the go pedal and it reached 100 easy without having to down shift. well I was cruising along and I saw my car struggles to get from 130-140 on the speedo. I reached 140... but I was already at redline. Didn't want to go to fuel cut off. But I'm sure my car doesn't have the balls to make it there. Not yet

Taking my car to 140 was amazing and like slip said it feel like you're floating. The lights around you kinda blurr. OT I remember the first burn out I did on this car it was pretty cool... it would reach the 7200 fuel cut off then bog down and slow down.... After alot of problems fixed and a 2fast 58mm tb I did it again like a couple of days ago.... She stayed at 7200...... she wouldn't come back down so I was scared and didn't want to risk it so I slowed her down.

Honestly I recommend it. I have the 58mm It didn't make a noticeble increase up high.... But low to midrange power was bumped up that you can really feel. I found myself staying in fourth gear going up certain hills here where I would normally have had to down shift...

We had been saying it made a diff. It's just ppl just don't believe us. His entire Manifold setup add's 20+hp for under 500 bucks that a steal. A DC header is 350 and up and just 10+hp at most.

Well for a stocker the ludes 5th gear is great. For some of us who are on a quest for a faster speedier lude then our 5th gear wont cut it. B20luda swapped his gear out for the accord and has an estimated 158mph top speed at redline......

He sure did, that gives him the ability to do whatever he wants with the information provided.

He wrote something up for me a long ass time ago. I thought I was going boost.... never did, no need for the gear.
