i was out cruisin with my buddy, he was on his R6, i was in my lude.
this old school supra had beef(late eighties???). so we ran at a light, he told me he was auto, didnt say if he had mods, we raced up until about 110-120. and i had him buy a car or 2.

You definitly raced a MKIII... The supra is my second favorite car, so ask me for info (1st fav is the Z06 ;))

My cousin has an MKIII (1991) Turbo... T60-1 Turbo upgrade, pushing around 450+hp... They are not slow cars, only downfall is weight... Unless you remove back seats and such (my cousin did). It's and amazing car. Gotta love the turbo. I'm surprised you beat the supra though, its 232 stock to the flywheel, w/o mods.. Add exhaust you can add 10-15 horsepower because of turbo... 5 with intake.

who would rice the supra?! It's such an amazing car, can't compair it to a lowly civic... 3.0L inline 6 turbo that can push like 16psi stock.. Very strong engine blocks too!

my neighbor has a 93 supra single turbo....its a t66 with the stock motor and has 20 psi...i know you ppl are gonna try say BS to this but seriously...the weakest part on that year model is the rods....and they break at 875hp stock....his supra is 582whp and does 10.82 on the 1/4...its amazing...6 speed tranny. oh i love it...full interior too....god damn it makes me drool...its a beautiful car but yeah its not like the older models...

I use to have a 89 supra turbo before i got the 5th gen prelude. I think itd b a good race between the 2 cause the supra is ALOT heavier but in 2/3 gear, it starts hauling. But on the other hand, the prelude isnt nearly as heavy and puts up ok times too. I think it depends on the driver.. but id get the edge to the prelude.
