3rd genners (specifically 90-91 ludes) that want the yellow fog lights. Well, i have it. And no, i didnt buy yellow bulbs. Here is a write-up...

EDIT: MORE PICTURES OF FINISHED PRODUCT ON PAGE 5!!!

first, get 88-89 foglights.

then pry off the part which holds the bulb in place, i used a tiny flathead screwdriver, and hit it with another screw driver head, kinda gently.

then you get the yellow part out.

then i did the same steps for the 90-91 foglights.

then i placed the yellow part into the 90-91 foglight, gently hit it back into place (make sure to put it in the right spot)

then hook em back up. and you get this...

i got a new lude... a day after i wrecked mine, just so happens we had another one in stock... well 2.. but i chose the 91 over the broken 88 auto lol. 91, b21a1, 5 speed, 146k on it. good body, just primered hood, headlight bucket, and driver side fender. bumper is kinda muffed.. but whatevs.

Why is it that every time someone does something that is a bit different or somewhat new that they put "PLEASE STICKY" all over it hoping to see it stickied? If everyone that requested that some little write-up be stickied then we'd have a pile of crap atop this forum. Thats why theres the write-up thread. Not trying to disrespect you Mulrich

ahh i see you're right, somewhat. there is a "how-to" thread, and maybe i can't read, but i don't think i see, 88-89 foglight in 90-91 bumper in there. so mod, maybe you can copy this to over there.

But what you don't get is, there is no writeup on this topic. which is why i showed pictures. go ahead and search to see if there is someone who has a write up on what to do, no all it is is hey i did this blah blah, nobody showed the light, well i showed the light to the 90-91ers. so back the fuck off, and if you don't liek it, keep outta this topic. PEACE

i thinks thats pretty tight mulrich, and i can even understand why you 90 91 guys want the yellow fogs. cause it makes you ugly bumpers look almost half as good as the 88 89 bumpers do. you can sticky that. lol :)

oh forgot to say.. on your 90-91 fixtures, you can take it out and it becomes 2 peices, and inside the whole thing is a "spoon" so to speak, cut it off, gives you a little more brightness... i did it, looks a little brighter, not much, but enough to piss people off im sure.

luda... i have a white 88 bumper layin around... need it? i'll sell it to you lol. and no its not wrecked.

Good write-up. I didnt attack your write-up though. I was stating something fairly obvious but you couldn't comprehend that for some unknown reason. Look I just believe it's a teensy bit assumptive that when you do something different that it should be automatically stickied. And the fact that you get all defensive just seems childish, but hey look at you. I mean Im surprised you have a license or a car for that matter. Just my OPINION lil boy.

Well you try to give someone a little constructive criticism and they become a total cock mongrel. Im sick of seeing a bunch of people who do one little mod and plaster please sticky all over it. I was not attacking Mulrich or his little accomplishment. I merely stated something in this thread and he takes it personally. Mulrich, you've got a lot of growing up to do.

thanks B wait for the next meet, she will be all done up and i better see you with this mod lol.

Hmmm you do to bro... don't take this the wrong way but two wrongs don't make a right.....

Plus there are PM's availible with little to no cost at all

You have a valid point but.... I if I were mulrich I would have taken it the same way. Being who I am.

But it's a very nice idea mang.. you know you like it.

I dont know.....The whole 90-91 bumper just never looked worthy of this Lude. The lights look good yellowed but it just doesnt look right to me. Kinda reminds me of a beaned out Civic with Wal-mart special yellow fogs.
I guess to each his own.

USDM 300ZX's had similar front bumpers, too :D I originally liked the 88/89 bumper/taillights combo better, but the 90/91 is growing on me. I'd like one of each, honestly :D

And any socal 90/91 luders that wanna do this, STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY FOGLIGHTS! :D The yellow does look pretty bitchin, though :D I understand the jealousy.

most of the foglights used the same bulb (H3 I think), and that yellow bit kinda has to fit that bulb, so...
