My damn old worn out wiper blades jumped the holders and gave me big crecent scratches on the windshield, some deep, some light. Is there any way I can get rid of any of them, like plastic polish or glass polish or whatever? It was pouring when it happened so I couldnt hear the scraping.

 I should write myself lovenotes too!

check out your parts stores for a windshield polish, it's a slightly abrasive liquid that may help a little. Otherwise, depending on the extent of the damage, start saving up for a new/used windshield
