Quick Question. I went to WheelFire.com and you have to select the car model and they show you rims that will fit the car. I want to get 17" Rims for my lude. They only show rims w/ tires w/ these specs: 17x7 205/40/17.

Most people here use 215/40/17 so i'm guessing it should be fine on my prelude but i can't select that on the site since they only show 205 width for the lude. I entered 05 RSX Type S since their stock rims are 17x7 215/40/17 (correct me if im wrong). 205 is alright i guess but i think i want to go 215.

Which are better for all season driving? Nexen 5000 or N3000?

Will these rims work w/o any issues on my prelude? Im guessing they should work since they are 5x114.3 17x7 and the tires they sell as a package are 215/40/17. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Exact Rims i want to get: 17" Speedy Wheels Lite-5 in Bronze

They should fit fine. You would also be able to fit a 215 size tire on as well.

Would i be able to go 215/45/17 on those rims w/o any issues with rubbing? Or is it safer to go 215/40/17? I'm lowered 1.5". Thanks.

I am lowered 1.5" and run a 215/40/17 in the summer and they fit without any problems.

im gonna be an echo and say they will fit... the tires from 35 to about 55 will fit... but whether it looks good or functions right is another issue

I really doubt a 55series tire will fit without rubbing.

hey wussup bro, well I looked at your rims and tires you want to throw on and yes bolt pattern 5-114.3 hundreds will fit your car, 17x7 will also fit and will not stick out past your fender since the offset of the wheel is 7, and tires you should go with is 215-40-17, it is perfect height, perfect width, if you decide to lower your car(dnt kno if you have already) it will also fit and not rub, trust me...i work for Discount Tire Co. for 4 years and own the same setup i just described and no problems, and those nexen tires...do not get them, they suck....i would prefer something among yokohoma avid, they are pricey but big bang for your buck. Hope this helps - mike

Yes, the 215-45-17 will fit and should not rub...unless....u drive fast and make those sharp turns, try not bust corners as fast cuz 215-45-17 tires is about 1/2" taller than 215-40-17, hope this helps and enjoy your new rims when you get them, post some pics, I would love to see them on the lude -mike
