Yes, I searched and I didn't find anything too pertinent to replacing a wheel bearing as far as procedures go and I searched the online manual as well and it just gave a few basic steps.....
This is for rear wheel bearing.

So, here's what I've collected so far:
  1. Take spindle nut off w/ car on ground
  2. Jack car up, take wheel off, brake assembly off
  3. Remove spindle( pop ball joints..)
  4. There's a dust cover?
- I also have a thing of grease(can't remember the exact kind, sitting at home * I'm at school*) & you are supposed to grease the wheel bearing up really good... that's a given. Won't be using a packer, but will still do it well.
I'm going to be taking this to a shop to get it pressed in, so I won't be doing the actual replacing myself.... But what else am I missing or did I just state it in wrong?

well, the bearrings are sealed, therefore ungreasable... in all actuality youre better off finding a mechanic who will do it for you for 100 a side or less including parts. my mechanic charged me 95 a side, 65 for the part and 30 for labor, with the whole car, not tearing it down and bringing in the knuckle for machining... napa charges 80 bucks just to press in the fuckin bearrings, so find a good mechanic and dont dick with it if you dont have to

if you remove the hub yourself and just have a shop press in new bearings, you will save a ton of money.

i did it like this and had mine pressed for 20.00 bucks a bearing.

Why not get your hands dirty? It's all based on opinion, and I absolutely love working on my car.
I think I'll stick to the shop pressing in the bearings. THey've done me right on the lower ball joints, so why not.

I just did this job on two front wheel bearings on a 92 accord. It required a slide hammer, taking the entire hub assembly out of the car and doing the "pressing" on the work bench, and lots of brute force. But we got it done and it works beautifully.

This is true if you don't know what you are doing.

If I am pressing/driving a sealed bearing into a hole/housing, it is OK to hammer on the outer race, but not the inner.

If I am pressing/driving a sealed bearing onto a shaft, it is OK to hammer on the inner race, but not on the outer.

You do not want to press/drive a bearing by transmitting force through the bearing.

I am using the phrase "sealed bearing" only to refer to a bearing that is single unit, as opposed to one where the bearing is supplied as components, ie: inner and outer races and bearings (with or without cage). I am not refering to style of bearing ie: sealed, shielded or open.

Alright. I got the spindle off and I'm going to be taking it tomorrow to get pressed in..... BUT..... If you compare a front one to a rear one, the rear spindle is sealed... What do I need to do before I take it to the shop?

Also.... My fucking rotor won't budge off. I just replaced it some couple of months ago but it wont budge off the spindle!

Front or rear?

Most fronts and some rears have a couple threaded holes in em that you can thread the rotor hold down screws into. This will force the rotor off the hub.

Clean the hub/rotor surface with sandpaper/wire brush and apply a little antisieze lubricant to ease removal next time.
