tried searching found nothing got do do an oil change and i herd you can use a s2000 oil filter. what year should i get the filter from? thanks in advance

Yeah, only the OEM Honda filter is different. The aftermarket ones are all the same as the Prelude, but the Japanese made OEM S2000 filter is a big improvement and its the one you want, just be willing to pay a bit for it.

Honda has 3 oil filters. a short fat one for older models, a thinner, longer one for everyother honda and s2k filters.

I've only recently heard of this - what are the benefits of the S2K filter over a normal prelude one?

Supposedly the filter material isn't made out of paper, but some type of metal mesh.

I have no clue what the benefits are or how people tested it to see if there are any real-world benefits. :whatsthat:
the s2000 oem oil filter should fit the SH also right???
