Okay,I'll make it short and sweet.
I've got this weird ass prob w'the 'lude that I can't figure out.
The thing acts like an older american car with a bad accelerator pump.
Meaning, when I blip the throttle it falters, stutters, not crisp.
If I apply steady throttle more slowly it will rev and go ok.
I looked on the search, and the shop manual.
I'm sure it's there, but I wondered If any one here could point me in the right direction.
Thanks

i would first think TPS sensor. cuz it sounds like its not getting the proper "tip in enrichment" which is determined from the tps sensor position. the map sensor takes over for amount of fuel to inject when you roll on the throttle, but cant determine amount to suddenly dump in when you snap the throttle

check the ecu for trouble codes, you'll prob get the code for the TPS sensor

Yeah, the obd0 computers aren't that good at catching partially dead sensors, they usually need dead-dead ones to trigger a light.

The sensor isn't terribly hard to test if you have a voltmeter.
