I've hit VTEC in reverse before.

When it snowed here a few months ago, there was this huge parking lot and I did reverse doughnuts in it.
I was scheduled for an alinment the next day any how.
LoL. I've never sone it in a straight line though. Thats nuts. haha.

^ Well i heard that most trannys are not made to go that fast in reverse. Idk how to explain it. Maybe i should search lol.

it has nothing to do with speed or the tranny although the computer could stop it. so who knows. vtec is electronic, not mechanical thus it doesnt even ever have to engage in regular gears.

i dont see why people dont think you can hit vtec in reverse. It's just another gear only spinning the tires in another directions. The motor still works the same.
