im getting ready to buy my valves and springs for my head im rebuilding.

what are good brands?

i know nothing about the brands so im looking for some advice. its gonna be a racing motor and i just put some ferrea bronze manganese valve guides in so i was thinking about going with their valves as well but im not sure. (btw when i ordered the valve guides it came in a set of 32 so i got an extra 8 exhaust guides and 8 intake guides if anyone wants to buy em.) but valves and springs. any suggestions?

supertech seems to be a very widely used option.

why don't you ask your head builder?

what cams are you using?

what pressures do you want on the springs?

do you want flat, concave, stock, oversized valves?

if you're building a "racing engine" without all this already known, i've got a feeling you'll be wasting a TON of money on just throwing random shit at your car

dont forget to use bronze valve guides. otherwise your OEM guides will be shot in a hurry. titanium valves eat them away.
