would 8-10 psi be safe on a b20 with 180xxx, no smoke or taps.....

bobnova has said that the b20a block should be able to handle up to 10psi with stock internals.and really good fuel managment and tuning...but its risky. if your going that route get sleeves and rods and build the lower end.

Yup, that about sums it up.

It isn't "safe" to boost any motor, really.

Some stand more of less of a chance of blowing itself to peices for no real reason.

Oil burning = bad bad
Uneaven compression numbers = bad bad
A wet/dry test with a BIG gap between wet and dry = bad bad bad
