Tire pressure

Has anyone actually checked the contact patch at a specific inflation?
Has anyone checked tread temp across the tire?
Has anyone looked at tread wear at a specific pressure?
Can someone explain to me why Honda recommends the same pressure front and rear (32 psi - gen 5) for a car with 63-37 weight distribution? Especially since the heavy end does the driving and the steering?
tommyt is very curious

It's just a good general pressure to use. Different tires and climates will change all of the above at any given day. Unlikely anyone here has actually done any testing, or at least anyone that's still around here - seeing as the last Prelude was produced back in 2001.

Nothing is stopping you from experimenting and using a different pressure.

I have a5th gen H22A in Australia and for the track use 36 psi for the front wheels and 32 psi for the back wheels. Also use same pressure for the daily drive.
