So... as most of you know my car went boom...
I got all the parts needed..
Front bumper skin
Hood
Hood Latch
Radiator
Radiator cross member
New belts
Front motor mount
So we decided to completly remove the entire A/c system like the compreser thingy... and replace the front motor mount...
Once we got it all removed, we lisfted it up and replaced the motor mount... We got a brand new one for about $30 ish... It didnt line up at all at first.. So we had some fun with a mallet and busted a knuckle or two to make it bend back.... It fit perfect once we got it all bolted up...
We cut out the A/C pipes and removed the compressor. Once we removed that, we put the belts back on with the new belt that was made for the S model without A/C. It fit amazing. Lost a bit of weight.
Once that was done... we got ready to bend the frame back... We took a normal torch and warm up the metal.. More fun with a mallet came again. Fire and a mallet makes anybody happy. We took the crossmember to figure out where it needed to be since only the passenger side was crooked.... Make sure you take out the headlights first, cause makes it easier...
Once that lined up we put in the new headlight, and got the radiator put in right, we put the crossmember on top. I double checked the hood latch, it was atleast an inch or 2 aboce the screw holes..... So we took the mallet and a 2x4 and pounded it down tell it was perfect.
Once we got that up and nice we put the fan in.... And tommarow we will be putting the new hood and bumper skin on...
Pictures will be up tommarow
