It's worthless to anyone besides yourself without the car and/or immobilizer/ignition/ecu it is paired to.

That red key is the programing key. It came with every 97-01 Prelude and was needed in order to program a new master key to the vehicle. Inserting that key into the vehicle it came with will wipe the ECU of it's pairing of keys. It's only useful with the original vehicle/components, it cannot be programed or used on another car unless using its original equipment.

So unless you have that stuff, hang it on the wall as a keepsake or toss it in the trash.

Side note, the small metal tag on the key ring is the code for Honda to decode the key cut depth.

does anyone know how to program a key fob on a 97-01 prelude that dosen’t have a stock radio?
Stock radio or not, a key fob can be programmed.

I forget the sequence, but it's a matter of turning your key a few times and holding a button on the fob. Maybe Youtube?
