Finally got the parts back from being powder coated semi-gloss black. I still need to sand down the H emblem so it's shiny, will do that soon enough.

After taking off my valve cover, I was shocked to see how MINT the engine looked, looked like it was brand new. Even after driving 3k miles after changing the oil it still looked fresh.

Heres a comparison of the original vc I took off and the used one I bought and had powder coated :shock:

damn danny that vc looks sweet as hell nice job. well you're whole car looks sweet as hell anyway, black ludes are the only way to go imao
thumbs way up.

Looks great danny. The bottom of the vc looks so clean you could eat off it. That tells me the previous owner took alot of pride in that car, and babied the hell out of it with scheduled maintenance.

Even after 18 yrs it hasn't bronzed. :emthup:

Thanks boys.

And yes I have thought about it. Maybe after my brakes are done, and it gets a major exterior detailing done I may enter it. There aren't very many around here though unfortunately.
