No petrol coming through pipe to carb. I seem to remember it sometimes works if you hit the pump with a hammer? Have tried this to no affect. Is it hard to take out the pump?

I reckon you ought to confirm if the fuel pump is receiving power before you yard it out.

All works now. Not sure what I did. No petrol was coming out but pout pipe back on carb and with new charge in battery it fired up....
