Hi,

I just want to wonder if i got a set of Enkei Evo 5 and its size 17 x 7 offset 42 and the tires are 215/40/17 will fit into a 5th gen prelude with 1.75" drop?

Will it had any problem? Like rubbing issues or others??

Thank you!

Well I have 1.7" drop and 17X7 rims with 43mm offset and not only do I not rub, I haven't even scraped the wheel wells when I hit a couple big ass potholes, dented one front wheel slightly but no wheel well or fender damage, I was surprised, they tuck perfectly even though the wheels appear flush with the fender edges! I can only fit one finger between the fender edge and the tire up front!

17X7 X 42 is like 1/2 a mm more outward so I think you'll be fine. if you are worried you might rub then get 205/40/17 tires and you will have no issue. (only cut like 3/4" off your stock bumpstops!) slamming the bumpstop if you do hit a pothole is way better than slamming the tire through the fender!
