Hey all

I'm new to the forum here and just started a Build thread

The car is a 1987 Prelude 4WS Si. Automatic, white, with 197000km on the clock.

It's a JDM import, don't think that they were sold nz new but I am grateful for the big USDM thing as they have quality FSM available on ebay.

Its my first big project - by that I mean stripping it down, doing a reasonable budget restoration, removing rust, new parts, manual swap, engine swap, turbocharging, and a respray.

Im in my second year of being in the panel and paint industry (or body shop for those in the US). I've been a car enthusiast since I was young, raised on all the PS1/2 etc racing games but got lost along the way and eventually rediscovered it in 2015. Then I owned a 91 SW20 MR2, crashed in 2017 and since then I've owned a 95 Subaru Impreza WRX.

This is my first Honda, but my parents had like an 85 City, a 90 Accord Vigor, and grandparents had an EF Civic sedan. I actually passed up the chance to own a manual accord vigor but I got the wrx instead. Childhood reality car vs childhood dream car lol
