if anyone could get in their lude bay and take some pics of all these things for me that would be greatly appreciated. i bought the lude from someone who had removed all this himself so i have no idea how it was all ran to begin with and am having a hard time finding detailed pics of what i need.

please dont sigh me, i have that picture. it does not show me where they go to from there in the bay. which one goes to heater valve? which one goes to the straight pipe on the heater?

They show where the coolant hoses go. If you want to get pissy I will just tell you that your too ignorant to read the diagram. I posted the only picture I have in the last month in the newbie thread. I will repost it here. As for the heater hose it is simple the one with a right angle goes to the head side straight pipe. For the vacuum that will be more difficult. I am not sure if they did it every year but on my b21a1 when I replaced them one at a time they were numbered. If you have your old ones you could look at them and see if they are numbered. If so the best thing you could do is go to a local junkyard with a pen and notepad and makes notes where they go. Otherwise The factory shop manual probably has a diagram. I don't know as I haven't looked at my manual in a year or so. You can buy them on ebay or go to helminc.com and type in your year 19xx and buy the factory reprint. More then likely most the ones you find on ebay are factory reprints.

Hoses are sold by internal diameter. Given that info the small in diameter about 1/4" but long in length hoses go from the rear water pipe to the iacv on the front of the top of the intake manifold. The one closest to the timing belt side goes up and connects to the timing belt side of the iacv. The other one on tranny side goes up and connects to the tranny side of the iacv. I do not have a pic of the throttle body hoses. As far as the text in the following picture disregard it. It does not pertain to your questions.

#17 is the metal rear water pipe. #25 and #27 are the ones that are about 1/4" hose in diameter and go to the iacv.

another info is if you look at the nipple pointing horizontally from metal water pipe directly below straight hose #22 is where the other heater hose hooks up. It is the output hose from the heater core and goes from the firewall heater core nipple to the metal water pipe there and through the metal pipe to the block and water pump. This connection is a bitch to replace with the vss installed. It is right next to it tbelt side. #22 hose is the bottom hose in my picture of the pot metal "Y" connector.

Here is the heater hose diagram. It is found under heater. Listed as water valve and hose/pipe.

#12 is the right angle hose I mentioned going to the head. #14 is the other heater hose that goes from the heater core nipple at firewall to the rear pipe like mentioned above. (by vss)

sorry i am not using stock hoses i had to cut different diameter hoses for EVERYTHING, so its a little difficult to figure where it goes. like i said i did not remove any of them myself and dont have them.

I sighed because these pictures have been posted more times than I care to think about. It gives a clearer indication of where each hose goes than a picture of a filthy engine bay can show. I'm sorry if I offended you, but if you're going to make threads with these types of questions you have to grow a thick skin. Please post these types of questions in the newbie thread, that's what it's there for.

If you want molded hoses they were still available on hondapartsnow.com or local stealership. Or like I mentioned the hose thread in the F.A.Q. Has a list of gates hoses by part number that you could buy amazon/rockauto.com/local orielly's and other places.

what i need to know now is, is it #25 to the valve on the front of the IM. then #21 to the #3 pipe?
does #27 go to the valve on the back of the IM? or is it #19? or does #19 go to the throttle body? sorry for being a noob at this im just having a hard time trying to figure out where these things go. i made this to help

Most people would be better served by simplifying the system like this:

You don't really need the ones going to the EACV or throttle body. Unless you live in a climate that requires a block heater, then maybe think of keeping them.

thank you! this is perfect! im in florida so theres no testing but im running the stock computer so idk if i can remove those without codes or idle issues

as far as I remember 19 does go to the throttle body. I will try to look at mine later. I know #25 goes to the iacv on the front of the intake manifold timing belt side. I was pretty sure #27 was on the tranny side of the iacv. I replaced all my clamps on hoses with screw type. However due to access problems to the iacv due to the fuel wiring harness for fuel injectors I kept the stock spring clips on the iacv and I am pretty sure I used some 18" long double joint needle nose that my dad bought me for Christmas.

The small hoses are smaller then 3/8" I think 1/4" would be what you would use if using imperial hose by the foot. 3/8" hose is what all the power steering return lines are except for one 1/2" at reservoir and the few 1/4" and one 5/16" running from rack to vss.

You wont have any codes or idle issues if you skip the TB and EACV. They also don't care about order or coolant flow direction either so you can just hook them up whichever way works best with straight hose.

what about the egr? the dude who had the car before me couldnt remove it so he cut it... idk if i can have it welded back or what

as far as I know as long as the wiring is good and it is clipped in (wiring) it shouldn't throw a code. If you have smog testing you will need a working egr system though.
