I just finished taking the FormFit visor off the hood of my 5th gen. But when I took off the rubber stoppers that keep the visor from rubbing on the hood the glued residue stay on the hood. Ive wash and scrubed the the crap out the hood and the stuff won't come off.

Any advice on what I can use to get this stuff off?

Gasoline works, too. But no matter what you use, make sure that you a) wash the car well after and b) wax it after, too

Goo Gone is good but the 3M Adhesive Remover works faster and cleaner. Seconds as opposed to minutes and you can get it in a aerosol can for easier application. O'Reilly or the like, $8.

You can use electronics cleaner to disolve the glue.
use a plastic putty knife or cooking spatula to push it into a roll
depending on the type of adhesive it is.

electronics cleaner will take the wax off in that area, so hold a paper towel or something else absorbant below the area you are spraying so you don't get it everywhere
use it lightly, the cans spray really fast and you only need a little

This stuff is great for anything with something gooey on it
ever takes grease out of upholstry
does hurt fabric
can disolve certain types of plastics and vinyl if you leave it on there

Gasoline is the cheapest though. That's mostly what goo gone is...
