how long do you guys think that a regular rectangle 9v battery would power 10 resistors wired in pairs with a 100ohm resistor after each pair. Heres my wiring diagram

_____ +LED -____+LED-_____R_
|____ +LED -____+LED-_____R_|
|____ +LED -____+LED-_____R_|____ GROUND (neg of battery)
|____ +LED -____+LED-_____R_|
|____ +LED -____+LED-_____R_|

all resistors are 100ohm.

if you wire it right you won't need resistors. I did an experiment a couple years ago wiring leds off a 9 volt. It lasted over a week before my roommates took it apart because they didn't know what is was (they thought i was wasting electricity or something)

On my project I just wires the LEDs in series till I got the light output level I wanted. Those LEDs lasted about 5 years on my tow truck.
wait and yours was running off a 9v battery?, how did you determine "light output" you mean just eyeballing it?
