I’m looking at buying a car and a 1996 prelude type s has come up that looks quite clean and well looked after. I’m wanting to know, since it’s an older car, how much I should expect to spend a year in general maintenance and upkeep. I’ll add some information and the listing link below:

car has done 220k kms (136k miles)
Cambelt was replaced at 190k
Has the H22A red top engine
5sp manual
He wants 6.5k nzd (4.3k usd)

link to listing: 1996 Honda Prelude Type S BB6
I’ve been in touch with the seller and he’s replaced the cracked front bumper and painted the lip.

sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this, it’s my first post here.
Thanks!

That thing is clean! Only thing you might have to update/replace is rubber. Hoses and suspension components just dry rot from age. I’d expect your maintenance to be similar to any other car with fluid changes and tires.
