Yes this was seen years ago.
He was the first and only person to go EV on this chassis.
But due to it being a fairly custom setup and the battery tech was soo poor its considered a non starter.
However, with all the new tech on EV's these days, going EV on this chassis is more of a possibility but again still expensive in the grand scheme of things.

A H, B, K-Series swap is still going to be more affordable at this point than do this.
But only time will tell if they can make a universal EV conversion so as too go full EV.

GM has a new incentive where it is selling batteries and electric motors to companies trying to start installing EV's into old chassis. It is still a bit off, but eventually it will be done. There are two company's on the west coast, EV West being the most prominent, that are beginning to make kits for cars to convert them -- however they are focusing on Porsche and Volkswagen chassis at this point.

Thanks for pointing this out. Hadn't seen this yet. I assumed someone had to have done it...
