I am needing a new engine for my car and i plan to order one online. I have found a few jdm h22a engines with the m2s4 transmission i believe. and i have also found a couple of jdm h22a engine. my vehicle is the 1998 prelude type sh with the m2u4. Does the h22a work with my atts? if not what jdm engine works with my atts. I read online that the prelude type s has atts just like the sh. What engine model would be the best swap to keep using my m2u4 transmission with atts or what h series engine and tranny combo come with the atts. I want to keep my car functioning like it is meant to.

There are 2 different JDM H22a's, there is the one found in 4th gens, which will not go with an ATTS gearbox. Then there is the 5th gen type S H22a, which has ATTS so should work OK.
