so basically you put in a slower engine?? im sooo confused.

all the parts that were replaced 1+ years ago, really arent considered new parts.
aftermarket parts dont really add any value to the car, unless you find the right buyer.
if you have solved issues, you dont need to inform a buyer of this at all. this will scare them away thinking you have problems with the car.

depending on the condition of the car, we'll guess average to fair. id say you might get $2000 for the car. also depends on the area you're selling it in. consider my pricing east coast pricing.

Can you please elaborate on "K+N dropped in filter (kind of)"
Does that mean it's KIND OF a K&N filter? Its KIND OF a filter? or its just rattling loosely between the battery and the wall not connected to anything so its just KIND OF dropped in?
and whats the body like? got any pictures?

Also wouldnt you need to modify a whole heap of shit in the bay to get a b20a in there? It would cost more on labour than a brand new h22a straight swap xD
If that is indeed the case you wouldnt get more than a grand NZD for it.

i wouldnt ask alot for it either.. non original engine, high miles, probably not in the best of shape with a 200k+ body.. 92 *thumbs down*, b20 *thumbs down* there's alot of cons about your car no offense.. but idk, you could find someone young and dumb and maybe get 1500-2k i'd say

Honestly, the OP is probably just confused on what motor he has. If he had a mechanic do all the work, he probably doesn't know a ton about the car except for what he was told/ paid to have fixed.

To the OP : sites like kbb.com will give you a better idea of what it is worth in your area, which could vary from where many members are. And maybe don't list every little thing you have done to the car, outside of general maintance, it makes it seem unreliable if you rant about every part in the last 10 years.

Good luck with the sale.

Isnt it illegal to drop an older motor in a newer car? Not everyone puts a certain engine in a car cause it will make it faster...

even if it was a b20 it would be way more expensive to replace motor, tranny, wire harness etc etc etc... i just think he is confused on the motor if it is indeed a si its a 2.3... but in order to give u any sort of value we definitely need some pics!
