then you should contact the shipping companies. noone on here works for UPS or fed ex so how should we know what their requirements are??

Perhaps in a crate with support on the inside to keep the engine stable while being shipped? Maybe put skids all around the engine? Maybe really big seat cushions all around?

shipping a motor if your not a company can be A LOT. i was going to ship a h22a4 and ups quoted me at 2 grand... figure that out. so he drove from Florida and i live in NY :)

You need to send it freightline. UPS wont ship something like that. If it was something like a bare block, head..something of that nature, they would take it. But it takes a rather large crate to haul an engine.
