Okay im new here and I just got my 87' lude about a week ago. It needs some work.

Anywho when i pull my emergency brake, the cables are free but the nut on the caliper which engages the piston is hard to turn. (Its the nut with the spring over).

I can pull and engage it but I got to pull the brake really high up and the cables are all the way adjusted in. I have no idea how to fix this?? I've tried lubing it and everything else; working it back and forth and replacing the springs over the nut. If I'm correct, the nut should turn farely easy right? so the springs can pull it back. Do I need new calipers?

ANY answer will help lol.... Thanks

Yeah its adjusted all the way. I can't seem to figure it out, I don't think its the cables because I can engage the brake but... the nut wont turn back when you release the handle.
