I have an air horn on my lude and my battery never has enough juice to run it. It physically moves the pump but not enough to work the horns. I have it wired to my fuse box. What can I do to get it enough power?

Thanks,
Wayne

you can hook up a relay and pull the power from the batt and not the fuse box

also if you hook it up to the batt .will it work ? you might have a air leak ?
I can try hooking it directly to the battery and see what happens. The horn does work if the battery is fully charged without any accessories running, and I have to be driving down the road. Its just not getting enough power.

thats what i was going to say, run the power directly from the battery with a high current relay, using the regular horn button or a seperately mounted pushbutton switch to use as the trigger for the relay.
