lol just listen to me. I did this like 3 times already.arent the wires from the clock the only ones that come from the middle of the dash? if it doesn't work out my way, i will post and let you know what way NOT to do it. it seems easier to me in the long run in case i have to swap out the thing.
thanks for your help!
I figured this out, the dimmer switch has to be plugged in.When you did this did the needles and odometer light up? When I connect those pins the needles and odometer don't light up, when I remove power they light up for a sec and then go out. I'm looking at the wire diagrams to see if I'm missing something. Any ideas?
Ah, well if you look at the pics on the previous page I was testing it in my room... Hindsight is 20/20.no, i just found it funny. nothing personal. i just thought u would have the dimmer pluged in. no offence to you.
im sick as a dog in class, i needed something to entertain me.
did I ever tell you that I drilled a tiny hole for my 4ws indicator light on the face? Well I never posted a pic but this is from a few months ago:Its all good, just one of those things you don't think about while you're in the middle of it.
Damn the EL's are sexy!

Whats wrong with the light? You mean the fact that its on? The car wasn't started when I took that pic!sean, that looks pretty good. do something about that AWS light tho=]
besides that, did you tiny yours blue sean??
Its actually blue. The person who had the cluster before me cleared it (stock yellow) and tried to "color" it blue.no u should get some like red film to put over it so its not white. it would look a little better and cleaner. but im not complaining. do it like you did your blue conversion.
btw, did u make that whole yourself? there were no 4WS 94 models were there? eh maybe im confusing myself.
EL Cluster Digital Odometer Modification :wink:so what did you do about the mileage? theres pretty much no way to correct the mileage other than reprogramming it, right?
