or like this:

Not sure, but maybe this will help:

I'm getting my 4ws EL cluster this week so I'll post anything I come across while installing it.

ok either I fucked up, or my cluster is dead. So I really really really really need someone with an automatic 92-93 prelude to take a picture of their dash harnesses, the ones that go into the cluster. So I can re-wire it back to the way it was with my old cluster.

HELPPPPP

right now I am driving around with no cluster. so if anyone with an Automatic prelude 92-93 help. thanks
I am also in the process to do this swap as well so here are the original wiring harness color from my 92 PRELUDE ( I double check 2 times between the in car wiring harness against my circuit diagram from a 92 PRELUDE manual)
first is the picture of the original connector location

and the original wiring color and the pin 1 is from the left to to right of the conenctor as in your second picture
Harness B (10 pins)
B1- Red/Black stripe (thicker wire)
B2- Red/Black dot (thicker wire)
B3- Blue/Silver dot
B4- Black/Silver dot (GROUND)
B5- Yellow/Silver dot (POWER)
B6- No wire
B7- Red/Blue stripe (thicker wire)
B8- Red/Yellow stripe (thicker wire)
B9- Green/Blue stripe
B10- Green/Yellow stripe

Harness C (5 pins)
C1- Yellow/Silver dot (POWER)
C2- No wire

yes that did help thank you. my only problem is with the last harness because I have 13 wires coming from that part, and I also have 4ws.

***update****

ok I just did that and my tach works but my spedo doesn't I did not hook up harness A yet because I am unsure of the of my extra wires. I'm sure that some of the extra wires are used to indicate what gear I am in. but some of the others may be to indicate errors with 4ws

and it does not light up.
how many wires you have left?

for 4WS system all I see is that
A1- Pink/ Silver dot (going to 4WS Control Unit)
and
A4- Orange (also going to 4WS Control Unit)

sadly I just finished the swap and the cluster does not work (only my left blinker worked fine...:tongue2: ), could be the JDM inverter (from a RHD prelude) at fault, going to test the 94 SRV cluster, the JDM inverter using a working swap in my friend 92 prelude to see which component is at fault.... If both components work in my friend car then time to search for a complete harness from a 94 + prelude....:wzbigcry:

LOL same here. Only the left blinker worked. I was like wtf? it didn't even light up. I NEED A DASH HARNESS. fuck that wire splicing. took me like 2hrs to cut and extend those wires... and i didn't have a wire cutter either. just had my hands, paper clip, sissors, soldering iron and a box cutter.

Thanks for the diagram!!!! now to wire them back up.
so did you get it fixed ??

oh yea wiring w/o the right tools is a task in its own
one is hot and the other isn't.

btw, I hooked up those lines back, and I had 7 cables left over. I'm assuming they are for the

P,R,N,D4,D3,D2,D1

however, my speedometer doesn't work, nor does my trip meter or odometer. so do you think those 7 cables have something to do with it?

and yeah, the 4ws light did turn on.

let me know about what was wrong w/ the cluster too, because I had the same problem, and when I turned on the high beam, it started to smell funny so i d/c everything.
it is a freaking rain/snow mix day over here today so I can not test the cluster or the inverter yet until this Sunday when the weather all sunny again...
the speedometer works off only the Harness A and it needs

Harness A (16 pins)
A1- Pink/Silver dot (going to 4WS control unit)
A4 Orange/Silver dot (coming from the VSS)
A7- Yellow/Silver dot (POWER)
A8- Black/Silver dot (GROUND)

if you hook the wires back to the right pin your speedometer should work as normal
if you hook up those 4 wires and leave other 3 not hook up your speedo still should work as normal.
as for the AT gear indicator I will get you its own diagram in a little bit since I am busy at work right now.
it took me 1 hour to solder them all wires to the right spot I have all the right tools for the job) and the cluster is not working, pissed me right off...

yeah but you don't answer my calls. you suck. i let everyone know that your probably one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to ludes, then u complain to me about people only calling you when they need help. lol so come tonight or sat cause we gotta get crunked for my bday on 420.

omg thanks. i'm gonna do this on sat. when i have time. 420 is my bday so i don't plan on doing shit to my car that day. Does anyone know where i can get an AT dash harness for a 94+ non S model???
i wanna see i pick of this cluster i changed mine to the h22 cluster and i think it looks good.

no speedo = no vtec so sad...
ok so my speedo still does not work, my D4 does not light up, but everything else works.

I also have a solid light green wire left over.
