Just bought my first 4gen. Really trying to figure out why it's surging, has a new iacv and maf checked coolant and got the air out of the system. I don't know what else to to check. Motor is a h23a1 with 155k.
Also how good are tein springs compared to Godspeed and fnf.

Take your IAVC off, and open the circular flap on the end.. inside you will see a big white threaded disk... make sure that is screwed all the way down, then close the flap, and reinstall the IAVC onto intake.. disconnect battery for 15 minutes to clear any codes... and you should be good.

Already has a new iacv he says there.. Try the fitv (fast idle valve) under the throttle body opening... The screw backs out internally on that unit when you get it off the main you'll see you can take an end off... Try not to strip out the screw heads or you'll need a new one, but pretty much tighten back down the white plastic screw that's on the inside of the valve and make sure the cooling system is bled again after reinstalling.... Or pull that sucker out and install a block off plate..
