I just got my car tuned and there's a dip in power when vtec hits or just before. Anyone know if this is normal or not? Mods - skunk2 tuner 2 cams, skunk2 springs and retainers, RDX injectors, I/H/E, skunk 2 intake manifold. here's the sheet I know its hard to see but if you look close you can see the dip at 4750 RPM. It dips untill 4900 RPM and then goes back to normal.
Thanks for any advice

Your dip is caused by the car going immediately rich during the VTEC crossover. Your AFR map directly below the graph tells the story.

The AFR's at the bottom are recorded by the dyno separately of your ECU, typically. You can tell they're real, because the AFR's spike towards a lean condition at the end of the pull when the throttle snaps shut to stop the pull.

I have a small dip in power during my crossover on the dyno graph, but it's only 1-2hp worth. What's your tuning platform? Hondata?
