I really need two cooling fan relays that control the fan circuits that are mounted under the battery tray. They are really expensive and both my Preludes need one.
I can’t find any at the scrap yards and I’m hoping someone has at least one but two would be great. After I shut off one car, many hours and even into the night I can go outside to smoke and the relay is making shorting sounds and the fan sometimes runs for awhile waaayyy after it’s coold off. Replaced the thermostats in both and temp probes as well.
The other one doesn’t run at all and if I stop at a stoplight the temp goes all the way hot until I start moving. I put new fan motors in both and I’m almost sure it’s the relays.
Thanks

Cheers

Dont count the scrap yards out yet until you visit Row 52 1st.

It could be the relay, you can check that by swapping the two in the fuse box. For my 89 Accord it was the Fan Timer Unit, which cost me $30 shipped from Row 52. Fans work just fine now.
