hey.

normally i just take the car to my mechanic for all this type of shit...but funds have been running a little thin lately so i gotta do the oil change myself.

the problem is that i dont know how much oil to put in.

anyone tell me how much oil to fling into a A20 engine?

thanx.

i have only ever changed the oil on my old toyota (a wierd model that had a holden engine:dontgetit:)...so is there anything i need to watch out for?
like anything that is tricky on these engines?

oh...and i also gotta change the brake pads soon.
anything i should look for with that?

kinda hard to get to the filter, but other then that nothing outa the ordinary, always better to buy more oil then you need, just incase.

You can get to the filter from the top of the engine, just reach behind the intake mani. On the brake pads just make sure you have a big C clamp and some needle nose pliers.
