The front jack platform on the center beam was rusted really bad and I went to raise the car tonight. The back hook of the jack platform snapped off (just my luck) so now I need to replace the center beam. Has anyone done this? Anything I should support before I remove it?

I believe it is #1 in this pic:

I found the torque specs in the service manual on page 5-6.. it doesn't look like anything else has to be supported, but just wanted to check with you guys.

Just jack up the car on jack stands from the lift points right behind the front wheels and bolt it on. Its held on by 5x 14mm bolts. Just take it off and replace it. Simple!

Yea no need to support anything on the engine. The bolts for the center beam are technically supposed to be torqued to 45 ft/lbs I believe, but don't quote me. It shouldn't matter too much anyway.
