winter did its work on my moms rims for her CRV. I was thingking of cleaning them up and painting them around spring.
i just need to know if i can save these rims and if so what type of work would be needed. (DIY style of coarse)

man those wheels are rusted as hell. the amount of time and money is not worth saving those wheels. check out craigslist for some steelies u'll prob spend a low amount but it will be a whole lot easier then saving those wheels

New wheels, those wheels have lost some serious structural integrity.

I would never roll on those, simply for safety reasons

salt, snow, raining every day. best conditions are here in canada.

thanks guys im probably gonna go pick up some OEM honda alloys at the junker i guess

you can but it's not worth it.

you could buy new used ones (even take offs) for less than you would probably spend on the refurb.

Exactly. I wouldn't even bother wasting my time restoring those rims.
