good quesstion...i retightened all mine at the end of last year and just went from the outside left to right then made my wayto the middle.

im still leaking a fuck load of oil from somewhere so sometime this week i'll be taking it into alberta honda, i wouldn't be surprised if its the oil pan but i'll be sure to ask what the proper way to do it is.

Not to rape your thread.. but my question is about oil pans... so ya know... Can you use that silicon gasket stuff on oil pans? I am going to have to replace mine (stripped drain bolt... don't ask) and I know these cars are notorious for oil pan leakage. Just wondering.

I put silicon sealer on both sides of gasket. Fill groves on the gasket. Don't overtighten, only 7-8 foot lbs. of torque. #s 15-16 should be under #11.
