Hello, I’ve had my 5th gen Prelude for like 3 years now, due to an very bad oil leak it had through the rear main seal and cause I didn’t took care of it right away a couple weeks ago engine died, I has a JDM H22A on it.
I want fix it and also make some improvements to it but honestly my mechanic knowledge it not that advanced.
I’m really looking for some recommendations of what I should buy to get the job done and also what can I get to get a better performance out of it once it’s fixed. I would really appreciate the help thx.

If you aren't good with mechanical knowledge, an engine swap is not for you.

H22A swaps (what you apparently already have) are the more common route., engines start at around $1k I think, but you only get a 30 day warranty typically so you'll need to get it in the car and running ASAP so you can make them accountable for any issues.
