I'll be taking my Prelude to Speedfactory Racing in Tacoma, WA on Wednesday for it's first dyno run and tune. I'm interested in seeing what a stock H22A4 with 170K+ miles and minor bolt-ons will do.

Thanks. 176whp sounds about right. I plan on buying an H23 Bluetop in the next couple of months. I'm still undecided on what I'm going to do with it, but I'm leaning towards a turbo build.

Do you have the gunmetal or matte black JTC cooling plate?
It's matte black.

I'll guess 180 whp and 155 w/tq. But I'm not used to that high of mileage.

Hope for the best!
Just passed 171,000 miles yesterday. It hasn't given me too many problems. I've had to replace the distributor housing, ICM, a fuel injector and the clutch. Other than that, all the work I've done on it has been normal and preventative maintenance. I don't drive it like a granny either... :burnout:

And I'm not sure if anyone has had an SH block dynoed with a conversion plate yet. Speedfactory uses a dynapack so I'm not sure if I'll see higher or lower numbers. They just set a record with their Civic hitting 200mph in a 1/4 mile. So if they use the dynapack to tune that beast, then I'm sure they can tune my car just fine with it, haha.

That's really good for a high mileage'd car. :D
I think so too. They really squeezed all the power they could out of it. The injectors are at 87% duty, so I'll definitely be upgrading them with any more modifications.

props on the build. very clean and impressive numbers. do you have a sound clip of the exhaust? i want to run the same setup but with 2.5" piping and a single ultra quiet resonator and maybe a hi flow cat. also how are those engine mounts? is there any vibration in the cockpit?

The motor mounts are nice and there's not too much vibration. The only thing that really vibrates is the steering wheel at idle when the engine's warmed up.

I have two sound clips of my exhaust. The camera picked up some noise from the engine, so if you hear it, it's not really that loud in person, haha. I also noticed after getting it tuned, the exhaust quieted down a bit and sounds more aggressive. Not as deep as a Subaru, but pretty similar. I'll have to take new sound clips soon.

Thanks. I don't know the actual amount, but I'd say I've spent about $8,000 so far. I paid $8,000 for the car at a dealership back in 2011 so I have about $16,000 into it.

I added some yellow Lamin-X to my turn signals and foglights last week. The turn signals are clear Depos, which seem to be really hard to find these days.

It should sound pretty similar, just not as loud.

Figured I'd take a new video of my exhaust post-tune.
