Just curious, I don't live in a state that does smog per-se, but we still have to do emissions in town and if you fail they will tell you the specific reasons and common fixes for it... hell they'll even refer you to a mechanic that is next door lol. Did they not tell you anything when yours failed? I would hope they wouldn't just say "cuz your engine" because that's just silly, it could be something pretty easy to fix? What exactly do they do when they do the smog test?Engine burns about a quart of oil in 200miles
i fill it up always and its not that big of a deal but it just doesnt pass smog.
and i cant afford a new engine right now
